Description

The Pentacle has been used for centuries by many cultures and religions. Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia.  There are many connections between the pentagram and Christianity. Before the cross, it was a preferred emblem to adorn the jewelry and amulets of early Christians. It was also associated with the five wounds of Christ. Today, the pentacle is used as a symbol of faith by many Wiccans.  The 5 elements symbolized by the Pentacle are: Spirit or Aether, Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. The single point upwards signifies the Spirit ruling over matter. The circle around the pentacle symbolizes eternity and infinity, and connects all the elements to each other.

This wood pendant measures 1.75 inches in diameter. The design is laser engraved on one side only. The black cord is a waxed cotton material making it lightweight, flexible and durable to use. Each necklace cord is 2.0mm in diameter and 18”/ 45.7cm in length. It also includes a lobster claw clasp and extension chain so you can adjust the length as needed.

Due to the uniqueness of the wood grains, you will receive a representation of what is shown.
